From 3 September 2013 up to now: Research Assistant at OVG/Goma, and
I interfere in the outreach campaign about volcanoes related risks and
preparedness policies to Goma population and it surroundings.

From 2015 to Now: Volunteer at Catholic Youth Network
for Sustainability in Africa. In the
following, I care for restoration in terms of involving young man and women in
tree planting, guiding discussions about the promotion of environmental values
and sustainable development, exchanging experiences and promoting peace and
cohabitation between the youth from Cyangugu/Rwanda and Burundi and DRCongo at
the American corner in Gisenyi/Rwanda, caring for sanitation, sustainable development
and promotion of the SDGs.

Eliode BAKOLE has over 4 years of experience in the community development sector, specifically focusing on Advocacy. Currently, Eliode is a Program Manager Assistant at Pleaders of Children and Elderly People at Risk, PEPA/NGO, where he focuses on advocating for children, single mothers, vulnerable women and drug users in the North Kivu province in DRCongo. Eliode is graduated in Rural Development/Environment and Sustainable Development at ISDR/Bukavu, South Kivu province in DRCongo. Eliode is driven by his commitment to fight vulnerability and wants to see not only positive changes in his country but in his continent. Upon completion of the YALI RLCEA training, Eliode aims to keep on doing and improving his activities about advocating, looking for supporters, Sponsors and bringing innovation in his work. Furthermore, he wants to bring vulnerable women, children and drug users in caring for the protection of the environment by planting trees so as to fight together the common threat which is climate change.
