 MY MULBERRY TREE, (My Laudato Si’ tree)                             31st August 2019

I planted this Mulberry tree one week after the International Conference on the 4th and 5th anniversary of the encyclical Laudato Si’ and the Catholic Youth Network for Environmental Sustainability in Africa (CYNESA), in Nairobi Kenya. It was on 25th July 2019. Look how big and fast it is growing.

As an Environmentalist and Naturalist, I was inspired by Gary Lewis’ statement above. I have to do it.  Without taking into account its health benefits, the Mulberry tree bear edible fruits but also it is a response to the signs of time (Laudato si’), climate
